About
Michael R. Kalish
Michael R. Kalish is a Nevada attorney with more than a decade of experience handling commercial real estate and corporate transactions.
He has worked on a wide range of deals, including acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leasing, and related business agreements, representing gaming resorts, private equity firms, and other commercial businesses. He also served as an in-house corporate counsel, where he led real estate and corporate transactions for a leading wine manufacturer, including the acquisition of hundreds of acres of real property and multiple premium wine brands.
Michael takes a practical, business-focused approach to legal work, with an emphasis on efficiency, clarity, and cost control.
Through this experience, Michael recognized that certain types of legal work—particularly agreement drafting—can be delivered more efficiently and reliably through a flat-fee model, while still benefiting from the judgment of an experienced attorney.
Assent Law was built as a more practical alternative.
The firm focuses on flat-fee commercial real estate and corporate agreements, giving clients clear scope, predictable pricing, and access to an experienced attorney. The goal is simple: provide high-quality legal work without unnecessary cost.
Michael remains involved in the Las Vegas community through pro bono work. He volunteers with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, including its Ask-A-Lawyer program.
